I gave flipbook these ratings in each of the different categories. First I will start talking about the backgrounds. I gave it a 1 cause there is no actual background to choose, its just white background. Since there is no background scene for me to input.
For characters, I have gave it a 3 cause I'm able to make my own characters but since it has no actual characters for me to choose so thats why i have chose it

In conclusion, the Purpose Games application is the best choice for me. It's simple, effective, and is very easy to find online. While it is not creative, that is not the angle I was striving to reach for. Creativity cannot always teach. I gave this application 17 points. The Comic Masters program, although imaginative and different, is not the most useful tool in demonstrating a new topic. This is why I did not pick this progam. I scored this program a 13.
I gave Comic Master these ratings in each of the different categories . First I will start talking about Backgrounds . I gave Backgrounds a 3 because its not all that good . You only have a limited amount of Backgrounds too choose from and there not all that good . If you had an existing account with Comic Master , then you would have many more Backgrounds too choose from and much more . The Backgrounds are really good but since I have no account , I'm limited too very few Backgrounds .
For Characters , I gave it a 2 because I wasn't able to choose any Characters . I was able to see some of the Characters but I was not able too use any of them . The Characters were actually really good but since I was not able too use any of them , not even just to try to them out so I decided too give it a 2 .
Comic Master is really good too use if you have an existing account , if not there's really no use in being able to add Characters .
For Text , I rated it a 2 because I couldn't post any Text in the comic strip . Jus like in Characters , I must have a account in order too be able too have more features and be able to put Text . Using Text is a huge part of comics , because it can display many things . Text is a huge part of comic books , and a huge part of Comic Master , in order to be able too use this feature I would need to make an account but I don't have one which is a huge let down .
For Simplicity , I rated it a 1 because it was very complicated too me . I didn't fully understand how too use the site , plus i didn't have much to work with . With Comic Master I was lost almost the entire time which is sad because I'm usually really good with computers .

Choosing the correct program for this project.

Today I had to choose sketch about how this will help a 6th grader learn about the design cycle. To choose between the best of the 2 sketching softwares to create manually on, I had to check them out and see the graphics and other stuff if its good.
I had picked Flipbook and go aminate.

Area of Interaction: Community and Service , Approaches to Learning & Human Ingenuity
Significant Concept: Design Cycle can be used to solve problems
Unit Question: How can my learning help my community? How do I make Sound Choices?
INVESTIGATE: (Write in complete sentences) Identify the Problem
1. What is the problem you need to solve? The problem I need to solve is to explain to a 6th grader the design cycle.
2. How does the Design Cycle apply to the real world? I’m sure that when people want to build any building, they go through the design cycle, even though they may not call it that.
3. How will this project serve my community? It will be explaining the design cycle, which in turn is useful in order to create anything.
4. How can my learning help my community? Whenever you learn anything in school, you are working towards going to college, which is contributing to your community, by making it a better place.
5. How do we live in relation to each other? By respecting each other
6. How does this help others? This project will help others (mainly 6th graders) in getting them to know how the design cycle works and how to be able to use it.
7. What are the requirements for this assignment? To be able to use the design cycle and to be able to explain it accurately and successfully.
8. What is the Design Cycle? The design cycle is the process used to create. It has 4 different steps- Investigate, Design, Plan, Create, and Evaluate.
REFLECT on your learning.
Day 2
9. Spend one day experimenting with DESIGN CYCLE your presentation. List five things your learned about the Design Cycle:
Day 3
Design Brief
10. Write a short statement of what you are going to make, why you are going to make it, and for whom you are making it.
Formulate a Design Specification
11. What are the requirements for this assignment?
12. What are the limitations you have with this assignment?
13. How will you "test" your presentation?
REFLECT ON YOUR LEARNING
PLAN:
14. Brainstorm ideas. Use the chart below IB Brainstorming Chart .pdf found in schoology under “materials”& then files
15. What idea did you choose to demonstrate the design cycle and why did you choose it?
16. Does your idea meet all of the requirements?
17. Use the story board paper below to plan your presentation. Include how many levels you will have, what will be on each level, how will you include teaching skills to young students, and what will your questions be about. story board.pdf found in schoology under “materials” & then files.
18. Explain how you will use your time to get your project finished in 12 days:
REFLECT on your learning
EVALUATE:
20. How could you improve your presentation?
21. Does your presentation meet all of the requirements?
22. Share your presentation with at least 2-8th, 3-9th, 4-10th+ friends. What did he/she like about your presentation?
23. Reflect on all the steps of the Design Cycle. What did you do well? What do you need to improve?
24. Were you responsible in using the software, Internet, pictures, and computer?
25. How can my learning help my community?
26. What grade do you deserve on this project? (1 - 6)

ATTITUDE:
27. Reflect on your attitude on each step of the Design Cycle. Did you completely answer each step without complaining, being a whiny baby, or saying "it's too hard". Explain your answer:
28. What grade do you deserve on your attitude? (1 - 6)
